Parking enforcement around Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park is being stepped up.
The council says it will double the number of officers on duty at evenings and weekends, after residents complained of disruption from the 14,000 fans travelling to games.
A pilot scheme has already seen more action taken against illegal parking, and officials say residents have welcomed the tougher approach.
