Preston’s MP has written to the Culture Secretary urging government support to bring a major venue back to the city.
Sir Mark Hendrick has asked Lisa Nandy to consider investment to revive a large-scale cultural hub following the closure of Preston Guild Hall in 2019.
His appeal comes as more than 350 people sign a petition calling for action, after the city council announced a further year to consider the venue’s future.
