Preston temple holds prayers for Air India plane crash victims

Prayers have been held at a Hindu temple in Preston to remember those who lost their lives in the Air India crash this week.

The London Gatwick-bound flight crashed soon after take-off in Ahmedabad on Thursday, killing 242 people on board with just one survivor.

Crowds gathered at the Gujarat Hindu Society Temple in Preston yesterday to pray for those who had died.
