St Annes Beach has been named among the winners of the 2026 Seaside Awards by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Fylde Council says the award recognises the work carried out to keep the beach clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.
The awards are designed to raise standards across England’s coastline and highlight beaches that provide well-managed public spaces.
Beaches are assessed on criteria including safety, first aid provision, environmental information, litter management and water quality.
Keep Britain Tidy chief executive Allison Ogden-Newton praised those involved in caring for and improving the beach.
