Delays could be possible as Yeadon Way will close for five days next week for some essential maintenance works.
A spokesperson for Blackpool Council tells us:
"We will be carrying out regular maintenance work on Yeadon Way to ensure that residents and visitors can continue to safely use the road. Works will include removing overhanging vegetation, cleaning out blocked gullies, repairing damaged fencing panels and carrying out essential maintenance to street lighting columns."
"In order to safely carry out these essential works, we will require a closure of Yeadon Way which is expected to start Monday 30 January 2023 and last for approximately 5 days, weather permitting."
"To minimise disruption to local residents, the works will be carried out Monday to Friday, between 9am to 3pm. The road will be open as usual outside of working hours."
"A diversion will be in place along Parkinson Way, Waterloo Road, St Annes Road, Squires Gate Lane and Progress Way, and vice versa."
