A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was found with several injuries at a property in Church.
The man in his 30s was found by paramedics on the floor of a building on Bank Street, Church, on Sunday.
Staff treating him at Royal Preston Hospital told police his injuries were consistent with being the victim of an assault.
He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
The man arrested has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Lancashire Police are appealing for anyone with information or footage covering Bank Street in Church overnight on Saturday and Sunday morning to call 101, quoting log 467 of 9th November 2025.
