Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man died following a road traffic collision between a motorbike and car in Accrington.
The emergency services were called to Queen’s Road, Accrington, at 4:43pm yesterday (20th May) following reports that a blue Triumph Daytona motorbike collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he died a short time later.
Sergeant Helen Parkinson, of the Roads Policing Unit said: “A man has very sadly died following this collision, and our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
“We are in the early stages of our investigation, and I am appealing directly to you, the public, for your assistance.
“If you witnessed this collision, have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, or have any information that could assist us please do get in touch with us.
