Police say a body has been found in the search for a missing man from Bamber Bridge.
David Henry, 45, was last seen just after 10pm on July 15 riding his e-bike at the top of Brindle Road.
Police fficers were called to woodland off Shuttling Fields Lane, Bamber Bridge, at around 7pm on Friday (July 24) to a report that a man had been found dead.
In a statement, Lancashire Police said: ‘’We have a very sad update to bring you regarding our search for missing David Henry.
‘’Although formal identification has yet to take place, we believe it to be the body of David.
‘’His family have been informed and are being supported by our officers.
‘’David’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed in due course to HM Coroner.
‘’This is not the outcome anyone wanted, and our thoughts are very much with David’s family, loved ones and friends at this extremely distressing time.
‘’We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeals and our partner agencies who assisted with the search for David.’’
