What's Your Story Chorley? returns this weekend

The much loved, free, celebration of the arts returns to Chorley town centre this weekend.

What’s Your Story Chorley? is the council’s first, free, event of the year's schedule and there's certainly something for everyone, of all ages, to enjoy.

Published authors, writers, poets, musicians, and much more will be hosting workshops around Chorley town centre.

Magical Story Jars will make a return creating 3D treasure maps, Dom Conlon will be performing 'On A Journey To The Moon' at Chorley Theatre, Puffin book author-illustrator Jen Carney will be performing, hosting activities and signing copies of her new book, Dedrah Moss the Chorley Flower Show floral art coordinator hosts flower arranging, Megan Roberts attends to speak about her book 'Convict Tales for adults' and so much more.

Schools, nurseries and community groups have been hard at work designing the benches for the Book Bench Trail which can be completed in the town centre now.

Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Alistair Bradley, said: "We are delighted our first, free event of the year is less a week away!

"We have a great line up of fabulous acts for all ages across the town centre on Saturday 23 March from 11am until 4pm.

"I encourage everyone to come along and support this celebration of the arts".
