A man has admitted to killing Anthony Harley in Blackpool.
Anthony, who was 53 and from Blackpool, was assaulted on Church Street at around 8.35pm on 19th February last year.
Anthony was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he sadly died on March 17th.
A Home Office post-mortem examination revealed that Anthony died as a result of blunt force head trauma.
Harry Fowle, 34, of Brook Street, Blackpool, was arrested 20th February 2023 on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and was charged with manslaughter in the aftermath of Anthony’s death.
Fowle appeared in the dock at Preston Crown Court today and pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
He will be sentenced at the same court on 21st May.
