Police are appealing for information and footage following a serious collision in Ribbleton.
Officers were called to Longridge Road at 9.20pm on Sunday (30th August) following reports of a collision involving a Sur-Ron EV motorcycle and a Vauxhall Corsa, which happened at the junction with Chatburn Road.
The rider of the Sur-Ron, a 19-year-old local man, has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
The driver of the car and her passenger suffered minor injuries.
Work is ongoing to establish the full circumstances which led to the collision and we are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam, doorbell, CCTV or mobile phone footage which could assist police with their enquiries to contact the police as soon as possible.
Sgt Chris Hardacre, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This collision has left a man in hospital in a very poorly condition.
“Work is ongoing to establish exactly how it occurred and I would ask any witnesses or anyone with footage which captured the collision or the minutes before it to contact the police as soon as you can.”
