Police have charged a teenager after a 15-year-old boy suffered stab injuries in Preston.
Officers were called to Ingleton Road, Ribbleton, at 7.23pm on Tuesday 17th March to a report of assault.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Friday.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, the boy who cannot be named because of his age, was charged with attempted murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Youth Court on Saturday and will appear again before the youth court on 24th March.
A 15-year-old girl who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been bailed with conditions pending further enquiries.
