Two men and a boy have been arrested after police stopped a car on the M6 near Preston.
Yesterday (Wednesday) at around 11:30pm, officers from the Roads Crime Team were travelling southbound along the M6 when they had reason to stop a black Volkswagen Sharan.
The car, the driver and the passengers were searched under section 23 of the misuse of drugs act, and with the help of Police Dog Buddy, approximately £20,000 cash was found.
The driver, a 36 year old man from Leeds, and the passengers, a 34 year old man from St Helens and a 16 year old boy from Leeds were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
