Volunteers in Leyland have launched an eco-friendly refill shop and community laundry to support local families.
Based at Wade Hall Community Centre in South Ribble, the project allows residents to use washing machines on site and refill everyday items like shampoo and detergent to cut plastic waste.
The scheme’s been funded by South Ribble Borough Council and Progress Housing Group.
Organisers say it’ll help ease the cost of living while promoting greener habits in the community.
