Thousands of spectators lined the route as the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women's elite cycle race came to Lancashire.
Some of the world's best female cyclists raced through 70 miles of the county, as the race came to Lancashire for the first time ever, on a route from Clitheroe to Blackpool.
The start was slightly delayed following heavy rain and after the race got under way, riders were halted temporarily at Nick o' Pendle as emergency services responded to a road traffic incident on the road ahead.
The race then restarted at Whalley, before cyclists powered through the heart of the Ribble Valley, past Lytham St Annes, before the finish line on Blackpool Promenade.
"From the start in Clitheroe to the finish on the Fylde Coast, thousands of spectators have lined the route to cheer on the riders and help create an incredible atmosphere across the county - even in the rainy weather!" said a Lancashire County Council spokesperson.
"Congratulations to all the cyclists who took part and thank you to everyone who came out to support the event."
The stage on Thursday was won by Dutch cyclist Lorena Wiebes.
