Two men have been arrested after a man died following a collision in Preston.
Emergency services were called at about 4pm on Sunday, December 28th following the collision between an off-road bike and a Renault Clio at the junction of Arnhem Road and Fishwick Parade.
The bike was travelling along Arnhem Road towards Fishwick Parade along with four other off-road bikes when the collision happened.
The rider was thrown from the bike and suffered multiple injuries. He was taken to hospital and died from his injuries.
He can be named as Alex Swales, 33, from Preston.
The Renault driver was unhurt.
By the time police arrived shortly after the collision all the bikes had been removed from the scene, and the other riders had left the area.
Following enquiries a man in his 30s from Preston was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a second man, also in his 30s and from Preston was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and assisting an offender.
They have been released under investigation.
